Cornus alba Gouchaultii, is a vigorous shrub with bright red young bark and variegated leaves. It can be used as a hedge plant, but it is mostly grown as an ornamental shrub. It is suitable for any soil. Cornus alba Gouchaultii plants are delivered bareroot during winter (Nov-March) and pot-grown year round. Bareroot bushes are cheaper than pot grown plants. Deciduous shrub grown principally for winter stem colour. Hard prune every 2nd year. Leaves golden variegated with pink tinge. Any soil, esp. wet. Sun or shade.
